This painting was created to show the beauty of light in our natural environment. The way it draws our eye to the same view, even when seen every day, to a different point of view. It is forever changing; the angle, the landscape and thus our view of the every day. The calm before the storm, or the clearing after it—we’re not sure in this moment which it is. The light holds a beauty that tells a story unique to each individual however we also all know in this moment that whether the storm has passed or yet to arrive, the beauty is still the same. This moment, the beauty in the now is all that matters.
